From Here to the Great Unknown
by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough

This month, I read From Here to the Great Unknown by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough, and it was a raw, eye-opening look at how fame can shape a family and the lasting effects of generational trauma. What I loved most about this memoir was its unique storytelling—seeing the same events unfold through two perspectives added so much depth and emotion.

Riley’s reflections on her family relationships felt so honest and relatable (and I have to admit, her husband is seriously good-looking). The comparisons between Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley were also wild, making it hard to ignore how Lisa Marie’s life seemed to mirror her father’s in ways that were both fascinating and heartbreaking.

"When I was little I hated to read but one day when I was sixteen I decided to pick up, Jenny Han's To all the Boys I've Loved Before, and I fell in love with reading. I recommend a book a month to keep the mind sharp and to stay creative! If it's from poetry or to a memoir, I love to escape into a good book"
